Your Ally in Divorce

Divorce is rarely easy, but we try our best to achieve your goals within a minimum of trauma, both financial and emotional.  In most cases, we are able to achieve a negotiated resolution, but when that's not possible, we firmly assert our clients' rights in court.

Final resolution will involve division of assets and debts, and potential spousal support, child custody and child support.  While divorce is pending, temporary agreements or orders may be needed for support, custody, and payment of bills. Ms. Ashcraft educates her client on their legal options, and helps them set and achieve realistic goals.  She is experienced with complex issues such as characterization and division of equity compensation and retirement accounts, tracing of separate property, and small business valuation.  When necessary, she will use appraisers, accountants, vocational experts, and custody experts to value property and assist in division.
